Charity Spotlight
The idea behind P.G.E started in high school for me. The acronym stands for “People Grow Every day,” and to me that means that we all learn and evolve daily through our actions and positive decisions. This mindset and ideology then translated into P.G.E Charity spotlight. This was a collaboration I decided to do during the 2018 summer break. The main point of the project was to team up with what I believed to be underrated charities across the country in order to increase their awareness and raise a little money for them using the network around me. I did so through the use of GoFundMe and PowToon in order to show that you don’t need a paid software to create an informative promotional video and also to show the true power of word of mouth on social platforms. The overall experience introduced me to some great people and powerful platforms that helped me improve my fundraising and social media skills.
| Vitamin Angels Gofundme
This video was the first of my charity fundraising spotlight series. Its basically a two minute long informational reel about what Vitamin Angels is, and what they do for their community. I posted this on a Gofundme page with the intentions of raising $100, after I met my goal 100% of the proceeds went directly to Vitamin Angels.
